PROS

We were treated like royalty on the entire trip, and the trip itself was very organized. We knew exactly where we were going and when. On board ship, we all met in the Explorers Lounge for late-afternoon, daily meetings. At that time, the daily events were reviewed and then the plans for the next day were presented. Besides the daily nature tours, there was time for water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, or jumping off the back of the ship for a small swim to a zodiac! The food was amazing and cooking lessons from the executive chef were most delightful. Last, but not least, those members of the crew that were providing service did an excellent job. They were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

CONS

None

RECOMMENDED

Yes

Put this trip at the top of your bucket list as there are some activities that require you to climb large steps. There are other activities of course, but to do these more difficult ones you will want to be in good health and have good knees. Be sure to bring hiking poles. Regarding Dinner... Ladies... This is an exploration ship. That means no fancy dresses. Most of the women brought some dress pants and some nice shirts. If you have a simple black dress, you might bring that. Bring a sweater, shawl or jacket as the evening air may be cool. Layering is good. Gents... No jeans! Men on the ship wore "Dockers", Khakis or other business type pants. Bring a sweater/jacket.
