Seven Seas Voyager® is designed so you can enjoy the outdoors just as much as the indoors while you cruise. Take a look at all the places you can watch the sunset at the end of another perfect day, including your private balcony. Seven Seas Voyager® offers a wide range of itineraries. Choose popular Mediterranean ports like Barcelona and Venice or more remote destinations like Dakar on the coast of West Africa or Ushuaia on the tip of Cape Horn. You’ll find time spent on board the ship to be just as enriching as time ashore. Relax by the pool, compete in a friendly game of trivia or bocce ball, indulge in treats at afternoon tea and gain insight from an expert lecturer.

The staff was always pleasant and did so much for us, with a smile. The food was very good.CONS
The shower was too small. The deck was too small. The bath tub is wasted space.RECOMMENDED
YesRegent completely failed on their transportation from the airport to the ship. We waited over two and a half hours at the airport, for a car to come and get us. After three phone calls, a person showed up. Told us to sit and wait and someone would come to transport us. Regent is not available by phone for help, or questions if it is after 5:00, and sometimes weekends. We arrived at the May Fair in London and the end of our cruise. We were told there would be a Regent associate at the hotel there was not. We had to call and reassure ourselves that we would have transportation to the airport the next day. No representative from Regent ever showed up, or contacted us at the hotel. The May Fair Hotel location is great. However, the room was a disappointment. No amenities, very low uncomfortable bed, The shower leaked onto the floor, no hair dryer. The view from our room was a piece of broken plywood.

Itinerary was great; on-board lecture series and entertainment were great. Cabin was great.CONS
Itinerary was changed and we missed an entire country. Tenders to most ports were a delaying factor every morning. Some of the excursions were closed to us and some of them were a waste of time.RECOMMENDED
YesShip is showing its age, but the cabin was very comfortable. Crew and staff were very accommodating. Food was solid. Travel arrangements were great. Excursions were uneven and some guides were good and others useless. No boxes to hear on excursions so guides had to yell.

Our flight and hotel accommodations were superb.CONS
Unfortunately on our flight back to USA we sat in the back rows of business class and had 4 screaming kids all 9 plus hours. Even the head phones didn’t help the chaos!RECOMMENDED
YesOur trip was fabulous. The ship’s staff was very good. Our only disappointment was a ship’s staff worker at front desk was very rude to Ned. His name was Juan. The hurry up and wait on off shore tours can be annoying. One guide never showed up and half of our schooner trip was cancelled and sent back to ship. Also on a walking tour in Christiansand our guide was extremely slow and talked about inane things that didn’t apply to our tour. Finally around 9 of us took off on our own. Our butler and maid were wonderful along with the dining staff. All in all, a great trip.

Weather - Fog......but who can control that?RECOMMENDED
NoWhile not one of the newer ships in the fleet, the Seven Seas Voyager still presents a luxury cruise experience. The officers and crew were some of the best I have sailed with. The cuisine and dining venues were excellent and I love the ability to experience the specialty restaurant luncheon cuisine in Compass rose every day. Even while Covid is still an issue, we found the sanitation protocols to be thoughtful and effective.....and we felt quite safe on the ship. The entertainment on this sailing was some of the best I've experienced in a while...a variety of pianist, comedian/magicians, an opera quartet, Beatles tribute band and the normal ship troupe. No complaints at all on this cruise....one of our favorites and great itinerary!

YesThe service and all of the crew were truly outstanding in meeting our every need or request. The food in Compas Rose was always outstanding. We only ate in Prime 7 one time, and it was very good. Chartreuse was disappoining. The rack of lamb was looked like two small lamb chops with long boned. Our friends and people sitting at an adjacent table had the same very odd rack of lamb. On my next visit to Chartreuse I ordered the lobster, and was served what looked like a deep friend chunk of lobster meat- very disappointing. Others on ship I spoke to shared in my negative view of Chartreuse. The pre cruise first day site seeing tour was too much time on a bus, no toilet stops, and a totally disappoining experience such that we and many others did not go on the next day's site seeing tour.

"Included" internet was painfully slow.RECOMMENDED
YesThe ship was beautiful, but the best part was the staff. They were amazing. The service level exceeded all our expectations. Of course, it's hard to go wrong when everything is included - a great value! The included excursions were wonderful. The groups were not too large and the included excursions went to all the "must see" sights in every destination. We started in Athens, stopped in Rhodes, Cyprus, 3 days in Israel, Crete, Malta, Sicily, Naples, and ended in Civitavecchia.

YesWe started in Venice with pre-cruise stay. Stayed at Kempinski San Clemente Palace. Off the charts! Former monastery on its own island in the lagoon. First class in all respects. We’ve cruised 3 times with Regent in the past. Have never seen so many families with children. Normally cruise Sept - Oct when schools in session may explain. Also, in the past nightly musical programs were always well attended. Not so this cruise. Hard to understand. Felt badly for the performers who were very good.

No<div>The staff is incredible! They are professional and highly trained in every aspect of their job. They do not miss the smallest of details and make sure you are comfortable and taken care of in every way. They seem to really enjoy their jobs too which makes it so pleasant to be cruising with such a wonderful staff. Dining in the main restaurant Compass Rose was a treat every night. The cuisine and presentation was the best we have had. The decor is fabulous. The lighting soft and elegant. They even have quiet tables for two. There was never a wait to be seated. The new menu offers you every choice you can imagine. There is hardly a need to make reservations at the specialty restaurants but we did. Prime 7 is the best Steakhouse at sea! Always perfect with anything you order. Chartreuse is their French restaurant. It is lovely but French is just not for us. Sette Mari is their Italian casual restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant a number of times. The selection was amazing with a full menu and salad bar that included everything under the sun. There is a new line up for the entertainment but I have to say I miss the Jean Ann Ryan girls! We always enjoyed the full orchestra and music in the different lounges around the ship. This seemed to be lacking on this sailing. The suites are beautifully appointed and well received with new furnishing and bedding. I did miss the cabinets around the desk area but I got used to it. The desk area is small but they made up for it by adding a nice marble table for the sofa area. Some how they always make the space work. This was the best Itinerary I have ever seen for New Zealand/Australia. We had many ports of call with just enough sea days to enjoy the ship and relax. We had fabulous weather with beautiful sunsets every night. I highly recommend Regent Seven Seas Voyager and this fantastic Itinerary.</div>

Weather was not conducive to outdoor activities on the shipRECOMMENDED
YesThe trip was wonderful, as Regent trips always are. The staff is attentive, the amenities are all there and everything works (except the laundromat, part of the time), and the excursions are mostly included. We took two special extra-charge trips, one to Santiago and one to Bordeaux, but our on-board credits covered the costs, as well as paying for items from the gift shop and a massage. The entertainment was good, the spa and gym activities rather less than one finds on a larger ship. People as always are interesting and the lecturer covered very interesting and pertinent topics. We look forward to another Regent trip in the future.

NoThe cruise offered a wonderful and unique itinerary that started with a relaxing day at sea, and included an overnight in Bordeaux, France; a visit to Bilbao and La Coruna, Spain; stops in Oporto and Lisbon, Portugal; sailing through the Straight of Gilbraltar; a visit to Cadiz (and Seville), Spain and another relaxing day at sea before arriving in Barcelona. The service aboard the Voyager was exceptional as always, and the food was equally wonderful. The entertainment on board was full of talented singers and dancers and was well received by all guests. We were blessed with great weather every day except one (rain for 1/2 day in Cadiz). The casino was pretty empty for most of the cruise, and the bars shut down most nights before midnight. The food and the service in the alternative dining venues was exceptional, but if you didn't make advance reservations, it was difficult to get in at the last minute.

NoThe Regent Voyager was our home for 12 nights in August 2016. We boarded in Southampton and sailed to Stockholm. We stopped in Bruges, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Riga, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and disembarked in Stockholm. The ports were amazing! My new favorites are Amsterdam and Tallinn. We had a group of 65 guests and from the agents feed back before I sailed I knew I was going to have a great group. We had celebrated several birthdays 2 major anniversaries, and we had a small unofficial renewal of vows while in St Petersburg during a special evening! The staff was great, the food was incredible, and the ship was in great shape, although it will be re furbished shortly, I didn't really see much wear and tear. So once she is out of dry dock in October she will be the belle of the ball! Overall I have enjoyed Regent Seven Seas cruises for my past 3 and I am a big fan! I love the included excursions, tips and cocktails. We always tip regardless , but the fact the no one is expecting it makes for a smooth and easy trip. Regent really is the most inclusive luxury experience out there!

No<div>This cruise was well balanced with plenty of ports of call and enough seas days you could relax and enjoy the ship. The weather was extremely warm but manageable. There were plenty of shore excursions offered with a variety of light, moderate and strenuous activity to pick from. I highly recommend reading the complete description of the tours and pick accordingly. The ship offered many on board activities during seas days and sailing hours. This cruise was part of the Smithsonian Collection by Smithsonian Journeys. This is an enrichment series that includes expert authors & historians. We had two wonderful speakers who gave engaging lectures through out our voyage. These lectures were a wealth of information for all the areas we visited. They were also available through out the cruise and interacted with the guests quite a bit. The staff on board was out of this world! They were always there to help you with anything and always with a smile. The cuisine and service was five star every night. We really enjoyed the specialty restaurants which require a reservation. If you do not have a reservation they will try and accommodate you if there is an opening or put you on a wait list. Internet service was a bit of a challenge at times but I believe it has improved with the added feature of free internet service which started the day we departed. This cruise and the itinerary is highly recommended.</div>

NoThe Voyager is a wonderful ship. With 700 people it is a good size with enough activities and entertainment, and still not too large. The Smithsonian speaker onboard gave excellent talks prior to each port. Cabins are large with large walk in closets. I was in an aft cabin and had a lot of vibration at night. I was told all aft cabins, regardless of deck have this vibration problem.

Adventuresome guests, great dining, attentive, friendly waiters and staff in general, free shore excursions and all inclusive rateCONS
Some ports quite far from city (2 hour drive) Some ports have little to see. SS Voyager has a considerable vibration problem on all decks in the aft part of the ship. It is most noticeable in the dining room and once in bed in the cabins.RECOMMENDED
No<div>Exotic lands were seen, some very modern and some with an extremely poor population and hard to reach as they were a good distance from the ships port. The Voyager is a very much beloved ship by passengers due to the friendly crew, the large cabins and very large walk in closets in the Deluxe Catagory, and for the Butler service and free laundry service for the suites allowing passengers to pack fewer changes of outfits. Unlimited free shore excursions is a huge plus with Seven Seas and is the all inclusive nature of the cruise. </div>

Great itinerary with over eight UNESCO World Heritage sites included in the shore excursions. All tour guides were excellent.CONS
Port intense itinerary. Some folks may find the schedule a little too busy with not a lot of sea days/quiet time.RECOMMENDED
NoPorts of call included Stockholm Sweden, Helsinki Finland, St. Petersburg Russia, Tallinn Estonia, Riga Latvia , Copenhagen Denmark, Amsterdam Netherlands, Bruges Belgium ending in London which we added extra days on as well as in Stockholm at the beginning. Russia, Sweden, Denmark & London are on their own currency but it is easy to use euros or U.S. Dollars. Except for London which requires the British pound or credit card with chip technology. The free shore excursions included with Regent were plentiful and diverse. There always seems to be a hidden gem port of call. This one happened to be Riga Latvia. We took a picturesque excursion to Turaida and Sigulda, the castles were outside of Riga in the countryside with beautiful gardens including a giant sculpture garden. We also had a stop at Gutmana cave. After the tour we spent some time on our own in old town a UNESCO World Heritage site. Strolling through the maze of cobblestone streets flanked by historic buildings, soaring church steeples, cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed Regent's Voyager very much. The suites were the best laid out suites we have encounter. Very large walk in closet off the hallway. Bathroom was large with separate bath tub and shower. Vanity area plus another mirrored area in the hallway giving extra space for storage. Good sitting area and balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Regent makes sure every guest gets a least one dinner in both restaurants. If they have space you can get in other evenings. The maitre d' worked to satisfy requests for reservations when there were cancellations. The ship layout was good but we missed having a lounge overlooking the back of the ship outside and enjoy dining outside in La Veranda restaurant. The weather was incredibly good with sunny cool/warm days. We prefer the fresh air of eating al fresco. Unfortunately they only have space for a limited number of tables. Front lounge was always a hit with sail always. Coffee Connection was always a busy place. In the mornings they could use another area for coffee and quick bites.

I cannot say enough about the staff - they were absolutely amazing. They always a smile on their face and willing to go the extra mile. The tours were organized and the cruise director was a talented and entertaining man. The ship captain was readily accessible and very congenial. The ship doctor (had to visit due to a bug I caught eating food in the desert) was very kind and spent a lot of time with me. Fellow passengers (mostly British) were for the most part very happy as well (there are always a few that are complain about nothing)....the dress code on the ship is perfect - no mandatory formal nights.

No<div>The Voyager is an all-balcony, all-suite ship that sails with a maximum of 700 passengers. The ship is beautiful, the cabins are fantastic, and the staff is very accommodating and professional. She is so spacious and the public rooms are laid out very well. The taupe fabrics, furniture, and décor of the ship are absolutely incredible. The beds and linens are really first class. There is a feeling that no cost was spared to make this the premier ship in the luxury market.</div> <div> </div> <div>Regent has retained the intimate feeling of a small ship. Whether it is the layout of the ship or the fact that the space ration per passenger is so high, I never had that “big ship” feel. The main lounge has sight lines that are amazing. No columns block the view from anywhere in the room. With this state-of-the art lounge, the entertainment offerings have become better including a Cirque du Soleil event.</div> <div> </div> <div>Pre-dinner and post show dancing is offered in the recently redesigned Horizons lounge where one can listen to live music pre-dinner and post show. The Observation Lounge at the top of the ship offers a beautiful forward view and nightly live music.</div> <div> </div> <div>The pool deck has great outdoor furniture and features relaxation areas with comfy resort furniture. Adjacent is a pool grill which offers made to order grill food until 4 p.m. daily. A cookie and ice cream bar are adjacent. There is a wonderful coffee and snack bar on deck 5, almost like a Starbucks with both hot and cold coffees as well as specialty teas, cookies and snacks.</div> <div> </div> <div>The cabins are wonderful. Every cabin has a balcony. The smallest cabin is 356 square feet. Nice marble bathrooms with a full tub and separate shower. Walk-in closet with tons of drawer space. The cabins have a high quality ambiance. The beds have down comforters and great mattresses. The wonderful cabin, private balcony, down comforters, and beautiful fabrics makes the cabin a place you do not want to leave.</div> <div> </div> <div>The food was truly outstanding and the four distinctly different restaurants are incredible. The incredible options for dining really make this ship special. Signatures is the epitome of fine French cuisine in a truly sumptuous setting. Prime Seven features a fresh, distinctive décor and an innovative menu of the finest prime-aged steak and chops along with fresh seafood and poultry specialties. Compass Rose consistently offers fine dining with a wonderfully varied menu. For a more casual ambiance, La Veranda is a buffet for breakfast and lunch with an omelet station at breakfast and a pasta station and pizza kitchen during lunch. At night Sette Mari at La Veranda offers authentic Italian specialties. The restaurant takes on a completely different feel than you experience during the day.</div> <div> </div> <div>Fares include free unlimited shore excursions, all shipboard gratuities; complimentary beverages, including select wines and spirits served throughout the ship; complimentary 24-hour room service; in-suite bar setup for suites with butler service; refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, beer and bottled water replenished daily, and much more. If you like entertainment, then this ship offers an outstanding lounge show. E-mail and internet access are available and very reasonably priced. There are many events planned throughout the day such as dance lessons, bridge lessons and play, mahjong play, afternoon tea and trivia, bingo, etc. Hard to find a complaint with this ship.</div>

No<div><span style="font-family: georgia,serif;">BASICS</span></div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">The Voyager began service in 2003 and underwent a major multi-million dollar makeover in 2013, so it is pristine at the moment. Public areas include a fabulous library on Deck 7 with plenty of current reads. For once I didn't have the need to hoard sought after books. The Card Room is where active Bridge Lessons and play were a draw to many passengers, supervised and led by 2 bridge Masters, Bev and Joe Meyers. The card room was a multi purpose room used for Hanukkah candle lighting, church services, small lectures, etc. The atrium lobby offered the openness of nine decks, The Horizon Lounge where high tea takes place daily was a major gathering area as was the Voyager Lounge after the show each night for lively social dancing to Kasia and Boogie, a live edgy Duo. The Canyon Ranch SpaClub had daily classes such as Walk a Mile, Wake up Stretch, Circuit Training, Ab Fabs, TRX and Yoga. The beauty salon was larger than most ships and high quality as Canyon Ranch now manages it. The Voyager is an All-Suites ship and I asked the housekeeping manger to show me the least desirable cabin on the ship and frankly it was very desirable. This is one ship where all cabins are suites with verandas, marble bathrooms with tub, walk in closet, safe, simply perfectly appointed. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I do at home tucked into lusciously soft European Duvets and sheets.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">CUISINE I met with the executive Chef Jonathan Smid, who at 35 has already made it to the top of the career ladder. Jonathan is a brilliant Canadian trained Chef who was formerly at the Four Seasons in addition to other stellar posts. He runs the entire food service operation aboard and does it well. The Compass Rose Restaurant is the Main dining Rooms and I must emphasize that the food is perfectly prepared and delicious as it is in the Fine Dining Restaurants onboard. The daily Canyon Ranch SpaClub selection was my choice quite easy and after 28 days I lost 2 pounds. How is that possible on any cruise ship? The Prime 7 Steakhouse had fabulous dry aged Prime beef as well as Lobster, Chicken, Lamb Chops, and Dover Sole. Prime 7 has seating for just 80 diners each night so it is the toughest reservation to snag. Signature is the Classic French Restaurant with Le Cordon Bleu trained Chefs. Signature seats 125, so its significantly larger than Prime 7. The best Wild Mushroom Soup I ever had in my life was savored at Signatures. Casual meals Breakfast through dinner are available at the Veranda, buffet style with a few made to order stations both inside on deck 11 and outside near the pool on deck 11. At night the Veranda transforms into Sette Mari - an Italian bistro that does not disappoint. The coffee bar on Deck 7 makes Illy expresso and coffees made to order. Illy Coffee is served throughout the ship.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">ENTERTAINMENT never stops. The professional entertainment included the Jean Ryan Production shows with amazingly tall dancers all wonderful. The females looked like Rockettes tall, lean and talented. Every show was excellent. New Years Eve was special with a celebrity comedian, Yakov Smirnoff who performed 2 nights- Yakov was hilarious beyond words.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">ONBOARD ACTIVITIES Each night in our suite would be a copy of Passages , the daily newsletter with the following days program. A typical day of Activities includes Enrichment Lectures from Smithsonian experts in 2015, Bridge Lessons, Social Dance Class - I never missed it from Ballroom to Rumba, Tango to Salsa, the teachers were Alan and Lucy - Alan was a 3 time World Ballroom Champion who coaches instructors for DWTS. Cooking Demonstrations by Paulette Mitchell cookbook author were exceptional. She is brilliant and engaging. Bocce Tournaments Croquet, Toss contests, Pool Volleyball, Bingo, Needlepoint, Canyon Ranch Lectures and more available to keep everyone active if desired.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">SHORE EXCURSIONS</span></div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">At every port, a Highlights and Panorama Sightseeing Tour was offered. Several African ports offered Animal Game Reserves, Cultural Tribal Villages, Elephant Orphanage and Rides. I especially enjoyed the St Lucia Park Hippo and Crocodile boat tour known for the largest concentration of Hippos in the world.</span></div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">The unspoiled Jozani Forest in Zanzibar where we interacted with Bonobo Monkeys fabulous. Snorkeling in both the crystal clear Seychelles and the Maldives spoiled me for life. Shark Cage scuba diving was available which was a costly specialized excursion experience. Ceylon Tea Plantation tour, Beach outings, Batik making, Walking tours, kayaking, Art Galleries, the list of excursions seemed endless. </span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif;">ALL INCLUSIVE Now Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers an all inclusive feature which includes Unlimited Shore Excursions ( some more extensive have a cost) , all drinks, yes alcohol too and gratuities are included in the fare. Having shore Excursions included created a camaraderie with fellow passengers as everyone went on excursions and you really could meet various others under interesting circumstances. I will never forget the Zanzibar Bonobo monkey in a tree above tossing nut shells directly at me while fellow excursionists chuckled. Overall Regent Voyager is a Luxurious yet country club casual cruise experience. Worth every penny.</span></div>

No<div>The Seven Seas Voyager was built in 2003 but underwent a multi million dollar upgrade in 2013 adding a wrap around deck and enhancements. The public rooms are almost all under the passenger decks located on deck 4 and 5, the spa encompasses a big chunk of deck 6 which has passenger cabins. my cabin was on deck 6 and as I normally opt for the highest deck on cruise ships, I have changed my preference after this wonderful voyage. Deck 6 was convenient to most of the entertainment, destination services, lobby and eating venues and right smack near the spa fitness area. I enjoyed the sound and sight of the water as I lazed on my private veranda, definitely a nice treat to be closer to the water rather than on a higher deck - best yet no problem with motion, very stable location. I stayed in a Penthouse category there are 64 of them sized about . 370 sq ft which included some nicer amentiies, soaps Hermes and L'occitane, and a butler Ryan who was superb. There are also Master Suites. 1162 sq ft, 2 baths, Grand Suite as 876 sq feet, full bath and a guest bath, Voyager Suites 603 sq feet, there are 29 Horizon Suites at 522 sq ft. this particular itinerary included Cape Town, Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban and Richard's Bay, South Africa. highly recommend St Lucia Wetlands, Tala Game Reserve, Elephant Orphanage, and private reserves. Also stopped in Maputo, Mozambique which involved a pricey visa for the day. If you skip one port visit, Maputo may be the one. Mozambique lacks infrastructure and is not geared for tourism, very 3rd world. Madagasgar and Zanzibar excellent, as were Seychelles and Maldives and Sri Lanka. Langkawi and Penang Malaysia a positive surprise. Daily activities on the ship were rather good but there were large gaps of nothing to do. A typical day included Walk a Mile at 730 AM with the fitness director on the outdoor deck, followed by stretch class and circuit training in the gym. the gym and spa is run by Canyon Ranch SpaClub is an improvement over Steiner. The fitness instructor and therapists appear to be more educated on health and fitness than I recall in the past. at 9am there was a single solo traveler breakfast. An enrichment lecture at 945 was good but not port specific to our itinerary, it was about aviation history. Daily was Bridge Instruction, and my favorite was Social Dance instruction taught by Alan and Lucy, Alan a former world ballroom dance champion and a Ballroom teaching coach on Dancing with the Stars. Cooking demos, Bocce, Bingo Trivia, Needlepoint, etc. Teatime was daily at 4 in Horizon Lounge and including an interesting array of pastry themes, such as Waffle TeaTime, Chocolate Tea Time, CroNuts, etc. The dress code was primarily Elegant Casual, which is defined as skirt or slacks (no jeans) with blouse or sweater, pant suit or dress for ladies, slacks (no jeans) and collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport Jacket optional. there were two Formal Nights with Tux optional, most wore suits or sport coats and women wore a bit more glitz. Each night typically had a fabulous Show in the Constellation Lounge at approximately 9:30. After the show a favorite spot was Voyager Lounge with a great retro duo with live music and singing, plenty of dancing. All dining options were excellent. The main Compass Rose Dining Room offered plenty of choice, I chose the Canyon Ranch Spa Menu regularly, excellent flavor, minimum calories. The 80 seat Prime 7 restaurant was the toughest to book restaurant however it was clearly the best. The lamb. Porterhouse Steak and Dover Sole off the charts delicious. the 120 seat Signature a French Restaurant was good to excellent depending on the menu cycle. Settle Mari an Italian evening restaurant was consistently good, Cioppino and veal chop fabulous. I highly recommend this cruiseline and ship.</div>

No<div><strong>Itinerary:</strong> The positive aspect of a small ship is their ability to navigate into smaller ports. One got to see the often missed areas on the Gold Coast of Australia, and all the way to Darwin.</div> <div><strong>Shore excursions </strong>were great and showed the important aspects of the ports - Whitsunday Islands for example -the tour to see the corals and fish was great prior to experiencing the Great Barrier Reef. Some specialized shore excursions do incur an additional cost, but there were not many. (There was always cold bottled water available on the tour bus.)</div> <div><strong>The staff</strong> at the tour desk were extremely patient and helpful. There were always shuttles from the port to the city arranged for the convenience of the guests who did not want to take a shore excursion...or had time to do some exploring on their own.</div> <div>Most of the <strong>staterooms</strong> are suites, and have marble baths and walk in closets...and the bedroom area can be separated by curtains for privacy / TV viewing. We were able to make changes or stop by the dining venue and ask if there was any openings and if they had it they would welcome you right in! This is better towards the end of the cruise!
