YesEverything was fantastic! The staff onboard went out of way to be friendly and provide excellent service. There was always plenty of delicious food that fed even our pickiest eaters with ease. The ship was beautiful and very clean. The shows (especially the Aqua Show and Mamma Mia!) were beyond amazing and would be worthy of booking the cruise to see alone! The ports were great and RC helped us immensely by having the excusions booked through the cruiseline which reduced the effort we needed to put in. We were thoroughly pleased with everyone with the exception of wanting to shop more and having limited onboard shopping but that saved us money so no complaints there! We highly recommend the Allure of the Seas!

Great Staff-most food great-(exception was desserts at Marketplace Grill). Specialty venue 150 Central Park was superb! Excellent food and service. Embarkation and debarkation down to a science. I went to all of the shows and they were very good. Mamma Mia was excellent!CONS
If you don't purchase the drink package, it isn't always easy to find ice water or tea to drink(the complimentary drinks). Complimentary coffee, on the other hand was readily available. On other cruise lines I have been on, the buffet restaurant was always open(not for food)for you to get some water, tea, or lemonade. The door to our balcony evidently didn't seal all the way, because the first couple of nights was pretty windy and the wind howled through it. It wasn't just our stateroom. Others in the Central Park balcony rooms complained of the same thing. Also the showers are very small. If you are a person of size, I can see that this could be a problem.RECOMMENDED
NoAll in all, this was a really fun time. Very educational and Faith was so upbeat and just a great trainer. For such a large ship, most of the time you wouldn't know there are that many people on board.

Ship seems like it needs so refreshing, also there I got the impression that they need more staff. Wish they didn't change the route from what was listed in the brochure, very disappointed in thatRECOMMENDED
NoThere was alot of rain and wind, people were falling and one woman fell and no one from the crew came to check on her and she sat on the floor for at least 10 minutes. The route did not give you enough time to enjoy the islands, You had to rush around to try to enjoy something in the port. In the windjammer cafe they used to have people to help you and bring water and coffee and other things, now it's every man for himself, you want something you'll have to get up and get it yourself.

YesWe had an amazing cruise vacation on Allure of the Seas. The Eastern Caribbean was a great route. The excursions that were available were awesome. The crew were so helpful and served to your every need. All of the different neighborhoods on the ship were great and each had a little different things that they offered. We saw 2 comedy shows, Mamma Mia the musical, water show, Blue Planet music & dance show. All were great. The only very minor hiccup we encountered was they had timing issues getting the gangways deployed while in Nassau and there was a substantial people backup that happened. However, once they got us moving we were able to get out of the ship and onto our excursions. If you have never gone on a cruise, you need to do it. Amazing vacation with Royal Caribbean and the Allure of the Seas.

No<div>Cruise was to be a memory builder for all members of the family, 18 in total. Everyone seemed satisfied with cabin accomodations and service provided by cabin stewart. Dinner was well served and enjoyed by all. There were plenty of activities, of various types, for all ages (6 to 17) to try and enjoy. Extras, like drinks, were a bit on the pricey side and seemed watered down. All the evening entertainment was quite good, but not appropriate for all ages. For instance, the Headliner show was boring to most adults and children would have pleaded to leave. One negative for us was having noisey neighbors (teenage girls) next door. YesI was curious about a mega ship although I had talked to several people who had been on one. They are fantastic!!! So many smaller venues so that it never seemed crowded and could even fill intimate. Latin band & bar, champagne & martini bar, a pub with music, Starbucks, lots of shops just on one floor. Loved Central Park with lots of trees, bushes, flowers, a bar that floats up & down 3 floors. Also surrounded by 2 steak houses, Italian restaurant, wine & tapas bar with live music in Park . Open to sky. Broadway 2 hr Mama Mia, outside water show. No wait for elevators. Our room was very large, large balcony. Walk in closet with wall of shelves! Can't say enough good things. Really, try it!!' Kids have flight rider, miniature golf, rock wall, Boardwalk with real Carosel, Mexican restaurant, Johnny Rockets, way more stuff.

We cruise several times a year, and we like to sail with other ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet, my family and myself would definitely sail on the Allure over and over again. Royal's private island, Labadee is true paradise. It is easy to forget daily stresses and routines while relaxing at Barefoot Beach. YesThe ship is beautiful and I would sail again. Getting off the ship was fine, however then the problems start. 1 hour and 30 minutes standing in line is two long. Although the ship is huge, we did not feel that we were crowded. There were all sorts of thing to do including the shows like Mama Mia, the Aqua dive show, Blue Planet, and a comedian. The crew was friendly and the service was outstanding!CONS
The only cons we came across were our shore excursions thru Royal Carribean. We were looking for more historical tours to be informed about the islands and took one at each port. Alot of times it felt as though they were just taking us to places to shop. We were disappointed in both the Paradise Island sighteeing tour in the Bahamas and the Mountain Top & Blackbeards Castle tour. Take time to read the RC reviews on these tours.RECOMMENDED

The ship was exceptionally well maintained, clean and neatly manicured. Staff throughout the ship were friendly, helpful and delightful. Always something to do on the ship.CONS
Although there was a great variety of food, the temp of the food was tepid not hot. Allowing pets in the Windjammer (we're not talking about allowing seeing eye dogs in) was deplorable. They were on the chair and table. The owner would pet the dog and, without washing his hands, use his fingers instead of the tongs provided to pick up food off serving bars. Highly unsanitary.RECOMMENDED
YesOur Stateroom Stewart was phenomenal, friendly, courteous, respectful and an overall joy. Always a smile and remembered our names from the beginning. Our Stateroom was very spacious with an extreme amount of storage. Captain kept us out of the wrath of Hurricane Matthew even though it meant our ports of call had to be changed. The entire staff throughout the ship were willing to help you even if it didn't pertain to their job; they were very knowledgeable. Shows were well entertaining and fantastic. Couldn't ask for a smoother cruise during hurricane season.

Had to make reservations to attend shows, time for dinner; too large a ship. When we were at Labade, we were given conflicting times and reasons why we were not able to use the kayaks as far as payment, time, or availabilityRECOMMENDED
Yes<div> When traveling in a group all should be on the same floor. Missed a lot of togetherness with our family because we were five levels apart. Our steward, Sheldon, and our waiter, Bayyr, were very attentive and most accommodating. Showed interest in our day always. Mama Mia was fabulous, beautiful costumes, very talented cast members. The Monopoly ice skating show was incredible. International professional skaters put on a magnificent show. Unable to secure reservations to Ocean Auria. Too many people on board. The Culinary Chef show was poor and stupid. The Edge Effect was poorly performed. Blue Planet was strange. Had a great massage by Juan or Jose ? They would welcome us with a smile and made our cruise so special.
