Ship is in excellent condition. The staff is efficient, warm and friendly and anxious to please. The production numbers and guest performers were outstanding, especially considering the small size of the ship. The computers at Seabourn Square are a definite plus for passengers who need to work onboard.CONS
The Restaurant was only open from 8 AM to 9 AM for breakfast and 12 PM to 1 PM for lunch making the Colonnade quite crowded during the hours it was open. The pool deck dining would have been used more except most days were cold, a couple were rainy, making that dining venue unusable to all but the most hearty. Other than the Thomas Keller fried chicken night at the Colonnade, I must say the food was rather ordinary and the portions small. I ordered lamb chops for dinner at The Restaurant one night, expecting nice thick center cut chops, but received the same three small lollipop chops I received at breakfast. But the gelato and caviar flowed freely, and I enjoyed both. I think The Club and the Observation Lounge are lovely rooms, but generally found them to be crowded. I think the public lounges are too small when the ship is full.RECOMMENDED
No<div>Embarkation at the Port of NYC was simple with an assigned embarkation time. We went straight to the ship without waiting in any kind of line. The rest of the report will be Pros and Cons.</div>

The shower is slippery, maybe some type of mat?RECOMMENDED
YesAt times the Colonnade eating area was very congested especially after tours end, no tables available.possibly stay open 1/2 hour later? In the past we have enjoyed the outside patio as a fall back as their hours of operation is until 3;30, but it was too cold to eat outside on several days. The heaters helped but maybe some type of wind block could be provided for fall trips.. The Staff on the patio area's however were very helpful! Also the reservations for the special nights in the Colonnade were difficult to get. Two times we had reservations at 8:30 as that was all that was available, and felt very rushed to wrap up by 9. The staff in all area's is A+

Yes<div>We had a great time, and appreciate our agents help getting it booked, arranging flights, and transfer in Buenos Ares. While there are cheaper cruises, the all inclusive nature of this cruise, six days in Antartica, and actual landings on the continent, 21 days, and all staterooms were suites characteristic made it well worth the extra cost. The ship, crew, staff and entertainers were top notch! They were all extremely friendly, proficient, and went the extra mile to make sure passengers were well taken care of all the time. The added cost for shore excursions in ports, and quality of some of the excursions didn't thrill me. However, Antartica was the focus of the trip, and the zodiac rides, wet landings, and expedition staff's lectures, guidance on land and personalities were perfect!</div>

Some of the ports of call were in very small towns with not much to offer but the scenery which was beautiful.RECOMMENDED
No<div>If you are departing or ending a cruise in Dover and want to avoid the hustle bustle of a pre or post hotel in London I would recommend a stay in Dover with a visit to the Dover Castle. This started the trip off quite nicely. On embarkation day we were right near the ship. No need for a long transfer with traffic. The Seabourn Quest is the newest ship of its sister ships the Odyssey & Sojourn. Sailing on Seabourn is a luxury! Everything is included, gratuities, beverages, specialty restaurants. Which automatically puts you in a relaxed carefree state of mind. The staff learns your name pretty quickly, always greeting you accordingly and knows your preferences for beverages. Their attention to detail is certainly noticed and well appreciated. There are four dining venues on board with "The Restaurant" being their main dining room. Excellent choices every night. The Colonnade is their more casual venue which transforms into unique themed menu offerings on certain evenings by Chef Thomas Keller. Which is a completely different concept than his Signature specialty restaurant on board "The Grill by Thomas Keller". Both require a reservation but was easy to get when requested. There is also "The Patio" which is Al Fresco dining pool side. Great when weather permitting and fun! I will have to say the dining was incredible no matter what restaurant we went to. I particularly enjoyed the Colonnade when they had the Thomas Keller special evenings. Entertainment on board can vary depending on your specific likes . Some I found to be fabulous, The Barricade Boys! Very talented musical group that could play anything. Comedian Martin Beaumont very, very funny! Others not to my liking. It could have been me but the entertainment that I didn't enjoy certainly didn't affect my having a fabulous time meeting wonderful people from all of the world including the staff! I can certainly recommend a Seabourn cruise to anyone who can appreciate the finer things in life. You can't get much better than this.</div>

A change in itinerary was unfortunate but handled amazingly well by all crew members who went out of their way to make sure everyone as happy as they could be.

YesOverwhelming majority of employees were very friendly and always helpful. We appreciated the champagne greeting on arrival in our cabin and the beautiful red rose left on our bed on our first morning. Throwing out our just blooming rose at breakfast on Friday gave us the feeling our room stewardess was glad to start cleaning out this group even though we had a full day left to enjoy. There were very few early evening activities. Twice there was a very good magician. Entertainment and dancing was often too late for us. 5-7 pm was a particularly empty time, with little in the way of food options. Not everyone enjoys Formal Night. We were able to find food at the pool; however, pools and whirlpools were ALL closed. Guess our personal schedule just didn't mesh very well with the ship's activities.

Less inclusive than other Luxury lines (wifi, spa faciilities unless upper cats, shore ex)RECOMMENDED
No• The ship décor is stunning. Lots of art, most decent, not boring pieces. • Suite very similar to suites on Regent (which I love) but with a more stylish décor. Many thoughtful details and clever design- iPod docking station, amazing shower head, sensational marble in the bathrooms (Tub + Shower). • Service was personalized the way only a small ship can (they made a point of learning our names by 2nd day, etc.). We cruised at the very start of the season so there was a lot of new crew, but experienced staff were training them effectively. • Food. The Thomas Keller partnership is a boon to the brand and all his creations (which were periodically served in the Main Dining Room and the Casual Restaurant, as well as the dedicated Specialty Restaurant) were super delicious. The rest of the menus were classic - well prepared and presented beautifully but nothing too exotic or even unfamiliar. *Spa facilities are extensive for ship of this size

They mention free shoulder massages on deck, but almost impossible to get one.RECOMMENDED
YesSeabourn was everything I expected from a luxury cruise line. My only little disappointment were the mini massages they offered on deck. When I asked about them I was told that you needed to sign up and that they are only offered at 11am on a very small deck near the spa. Also informed me that even if you signed up there may not be anyone available. I never experienced the free mini massage and that was one of the perks that had persuaded me to choose Seabourn. Besides that everything else was superb!
