SHIP OVERVIEW

In Norse mythology, Tialfi was the son of Egil and a champion runner. He became a slave to Thor, the god of thunder, after eating one of his goats. On a journey with Thor, Tialfi stopped to run a race against the young giant Hugi. The giant was an illusion and the embodiment of thought; and since no one can run faster than thought, Tialfi lost.

<div>We sailed the Rhine to Amsterdam. Our days were filled with activities and excursions and all was run with military precision. The meals were superlative. The variety, quality and presentation was simply beyond my expectations. The service was prompt, personalized and courteous and all of this orchestrated by a team of experienced managers. They met us regularly and in timely informative pr&eacute;sentations we were introduced to our ship, services and itinerary and always with a dash of humor. In brief, we had a great cruise.</div>

<div>Great trip! Special thanks to our travel agent who did a wonderful job putting our trip together. We liked our post-cruise package which offered nice 4 star hotels to stay at with a good location. Viking also gave a 3 days transportation pass which made everything so convenient. We also want to thank our Lucerne post-cruise host Beata Berry who did good job, very patient to explain on our own day, where to go, where to eat.</div>
