SHIP OVERVIEW

Polished, unwavering, and upscale, the 84-guest Safari Endeavour may be the workhorse of the fleet but it’s her zest-for-life persona that’s remembered most. Not to mention her roomy lounge, dining room, and undisputed sun deck, as well as her slick EZ Dock launch platform.

Alaska's Glaciers and Whales Tour

PROS

Excellent service by both the expedition staff and the hotel (cabin and dining room) staff. Informative and friendly, they made a real effort to learn our names and needs.

CONS

Communications could have been more precise and complete. For example: Engine room tour will commence at "1:45 or 1:30 or whatever". Also we were told to have bags out before breakfast on last day, but not that the bags would be transported to airport on a separate vehicle. Good idea that worked well, but we had to ask at the Hospitality Center where our bags were.

RECOMMENDED

Yes

The Photography theme departure was excellent. The professional on board was informative and patient. Cultural visit to Kake was a plus. The pre-cruise addition to Talkeetna and Denali was very good.
