The S.S. Joie de Vivek was a beautifully appointed ship. Its staff was extremely accommodating and so knowledgeable of the areas where we stopped. My friend and I were pampered from arrival to departure.CONS

YesThis was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations. Uniworld took care of everything. We especially appreciated the transfers to and from the airport and our pre-cruise hotel. We had several side trips to choose from every day and they were all wonderful, informative and fun. There was plenty of free time to shop or explore on our own. The French countryside was lovely. the meals and service on board were excellent. They are eager to accommodate us when we had a special request. they celebrate special events (we had our anniversary while on board). We are happy we experienced two days in Paris before the cruise. It helped us adjust to the time change and the Uniworld tour of the Opera House was one of the highlights of our trip. we never would have considered going to see it had we not done the pre cruise option. The food and wine was always amazing! Lots of choices for the breakfast and lunch meals and dinner had ample selections for each course. the ship was clean and had plenty of spaces to explore and we didn't feel like it was ever crowded. We know Uniworld is a bit more expensive, but we feel it was money well spent!!

YesUniworld far exceeded our expectations. The service staff is top notch, all inclusive meant just that and the excursions were amazing. I cannot think of a thing I would change about the whole trip. For our return trip home we were taken to our gate by a Uniworld representative! I would definitely cruise Uniworld again!

YesA great ship, good local guides, interesting excursions. Staff was great. But poor wi-fi was frustrating, as was the inability to watch the French Open (picture kept breaking up, although we were docked in Paris.)

NONE-I have already recommended our ship and Uniworld to several friends.RECOMMENDED
YesMy wife and I have been on at least 8 ocean liner cruises. We both feel the river cruise was a better experience and we would not hesitate to book Uniworld again.

YesCruise Manager, Sharon, did an excellent job. Maid service in our Cabin 310, was excellent. This was our 4th Uniworld Cruise and I did not feel that the food quality or selection was as good as previous. The ship is magnificent.
