Originally designed by prolific Bozeman architect Fred Fielding Willson and built in 1941 to house the Bozeman National Guard, the landmark Armory building is a timeless example of Art Deco design. Today, the building begins a new chapter as the Kimpton Armory Hotel, though details of its rich past have been lovingly preserved. From our warm and inviting communal spaces, to our stylish yet comfortable 122 guest rooms and suites, the new look and feel of the hotel fuses the ruggedly handsome and the tastefully modern, while drawing inspiration from the natural panorama of the region itself.

Set against a palette of warm, earthy tones, we have also included artful design touches, cozy furniture pieces and luxe Kimpton amenities with the express purpose of creating restful retreats that capture the spirit of the West.

Our well-appointed Essential Rooms are cozy landing pads for your Bozeman travels. Unwind in style with our custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, large shower, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Essential Kings are approximately 280-320 sq feet.
Essential 2 Queen Beds

Our well-appointed Essential Rooms are cozy landing pads for your Bozeman travels. Unwind in style with our custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, large shower, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Essential 2 Queens are approximately 350-390 sq feet.
Premium 1 King Bed

Upgrade yourself to a more spacious Signature Room. Unwind in style with our custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, large shower, combo, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Signature 1 King are approximately 320-350 sq feet.
Premium 2 Queen Beds

Upgrade yourself to a more spacious Signature Room. Unwind in style with our custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, shower tub combo, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Signature 2 Queens are approximately 360-410 sq feet.
Premium King with Peloton

Go for a spin on a Peloton bike in your guest room! Our King Peloton room allows guests to experience online studio cycling classes from instructors in the privacy of their own room. Unwind afterward in style with custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, Atelier Bloem bath amenities.
Signature 1 King Bed

Elevate your stay in a Premium Room. Unwind in style with our custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, large shower, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Premium 1 King are approximately 400-415 sq feet.
Armory Suite

Find all the comforts in our perfect escape in our Armory Suite. The king bed is outfitted with Italian Frette linens, custom mattress. Also included, separate living room, shower tub combo, Atelier Bloem bath amenities and flat screen TV. The Armory Suite is 550 sq feet.
One Bedroom Suite

Tranquility reigns in our One Bedroom Suites. Designed for every traveler, each offers style and function. Including custom mattresses, Plush pillow, Italian Frette linens, large shower w/ sep. soaking tub, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, yoga mat and flat screen TV. Rooms are approx. 500-580 sq feet.
Presidential Suite

Welcome to the Presidential Suite. With1 King Bed and at 1250 sq ft. this stylish suite is on the top floor and makes for an exceptional stay. The large seating areas and spacious bathrooms are designed for your relaxation.

Friday and Saturday – 7 am – 11 pm

Sunday – Thursday – 7 am – 10 pm

Hours may vary based upon COVID restrictions. Currently not offering in-room dining and only offering drop and go service from restaurant when open.

The namesake of Fred Fielding Willson, the architect of the original Bozeman Armory building, our bustling all-day ground-floor restaurant is rooted in the traditions of American regional cooking. Serving up seasonal fare sourced from local growers and purveyors who deliver the best ingredients that Montana's fields, forests, rivers, and farms have to offer, you will find delicious offerings to satisfy every taste at Fielding's.
Sky Shed

No matter the season, all you have to do is head up to the roof top of the hotel to unwind with a drink in hand in our Sky Shed. Light, airy, and modern, this glass-enclosed gathering place with a fire pit and cozy furnishings is perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine after work while you enjoy sweeping views of not one but four (yes, four) mountain ranges visible from Downtown Bozeman or an evening cocktail while you marvel at the sheer number of stars visible in the Montana night sky.
Tune Up

There is a reason you will find Tune Up in the basement of Kimpton Armory Hotel. Sometimes you have to go underground to turn up the volume, let your hair down and throw caution to the wind. The original band room of the Armory, this is where the sounds of live music performed by local bands and traveling acts fill the space. It's where the potent combination of standout drinks, savory snacks and that elusive good-time rock 'n roll energy come together for a uniquely Bozeman bar experience.
