About Lausanne

Lausanne and its region are centrally located to visit Western Switzerland and the French and Swiss Alps. It is famous for food and wine, cultural events and sport activities. In an imposing position at the east end of the Beau-Rivage Palace and with the possibility of private access to the hotel's only roof terrace (237 square feet), the Lavaux suite offers a unique panoramic view over the lake, the Alps and the majestic 4-hectare park.

Apartment - suite

The suite is decorated in a contemporary style with a light color scheme. It comprises of a large living room and adjoining bedroom. This space can be extended by adding the 3 adjacent bedrooms and a kitchen at the end of the wing. One of the bedrooms has its own private sauna. Total possible floor area: 3’229 square feet.

Spa Suite

Designed for health and wellbeing holidays, the Spa suite consists of a lounge, a bedroom and an immense bathroom with its own spa area. Its location on the 6th floor affords a magnificent view of the lake and the Alps. It has an area of 915 square feet.

The Beau-Rivage Palace has placed Anne-Sophie Pic at the helm of the kitchens of its fine-dining restaurant. While continuing to preside over her restaurant in Valence (France), the three star Michelin chef has entrusted the realization of her creations to Kevin Gatin.

The restaurant has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide and 18/20 in the Gault Millau.

Situated near the hotel entrance, the Lobby Lounge has one of the most beautiful terraces in Lausanne and welcomes non-resident guests for breakfast from 8am. A menu offers light dishes all day long and the first notes of live music coming from the grand piano fill the space from 6pm. In winter, the terrace is transformed into an ice rink to be enjoyed by all the family. Mulled wine, fondues and plates of local dried meats and cheeses can be enjoyed outdoors, in the comfort of armchairs and snug under fluffy blankets.

Cocktail-making classes

Our barmen will be pleased to welcome you and share the secrets of a successful cocktail. The lesson starts with a presentation of the rare products of the BAR, including a brief history of their provenance. Then a professional barman will give a practical demonstration and each participant will mix his or her own cocktail, which he or she can then enjoy. Each participant will leave with the cocktail recipe and a souvenir gift.

Restaurant on the lake.

A genuine floating restaurant, the Montreux is the oldest steamboat sailing on Lake Geneva (CGN). Gourmet cruises from 19th of June to 4th of September 2016, dishes prepared by the chefs of the Beau-Rivage Palace.
