Wai'anapanapa State Park Ths park offers a walk along the ancient "King's Trail", where one can explore a legendary fresh-water cave and discover archeological sites.

Kahanu Garden

Set on a rugged lava coast overlooking the Pacific Coast is home to some of Hawaii's most precious treasures, Pi'ilanihale, a heiau or temple, is believed to be the largest man-made, pre-western contact structure in all Polynesia.

Ohe'o Gulch at Haleakala National Park

Located approximately 11 miles from Hana town. This National Park features a series of cascading pools that lead to the ocean. Formerly known as the Seven Sacred Pools. The Waimoku Hiking Trail is a five-mile round trip that takes you through a bamboo forest to beautiful Waimoku Falls.

Hana Cultural Center

Located within a few minutes' walk from the hotel, the Hana Cultural Center offers a glimpse back in time. The former one-room courthouse and jail hosue offer a fascinating collection of histsorical photos, documents and artifacts. A small gift shop helps support the collections. Open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Kahului is the major airport for Maui and is 57 miles from the hotel. The airport is serviced by direct flights from the mainland major airlines. The Hotel is a scenic, two-hour drive away via the famous Hana Highway considered one of the most beautiful drives in North America.

Honolulu International Airport

Regularly scheduled inter-island flights are available through Aloha, Hawaiian airlines, and Go Airlines into Kahului airport. Pacific Wings has several daily scheduled flights directly into the Hana airort from Honolulu and Kahului airports. The hotel provides complimentary transfer when advised in advance of arrival.
